Pacoche, Ecuador is a small fishing village located on the coast, about 45 minutes south of Manta. Although the town is small, there is a great sense of community amongst the residents.
Pastor Fabian Buenaventura and his wife Graciela have dedicated their lives to transforming this community for Christ. They pastor the local church, Casa de Dios, with great passion and resolve.
For years, Fabian has focused his attention on the youth of the community, primarily the teenagers. His desire is for these young people to develop strength of character and to grow into spiritual leaders of their families.
Every week the youth are a vital part of Sunday services—leading worship, welcoming guests, helping with children’s ministry, and praying over the congregation. Fabian and Graciela are extending their reach beyond Pacoche and into neighboring communities through a small group ministry and weekly prayer and praise outreach.
They are also committed to improving the education of children in the area through extracurricular programs with a Christ-centered focus. These include music lessons, private tutoring, and a scholarship program.
