Islands of Ecuador!

This team will spend the week helping With You International (Fundación Contigo) complete a construction project that will begin with another team in January, play with the children, and engage in activities that will improve the facilities and the lives of the children at a project where they serve. Teams serve alongside the missionaries as they minister to their community and to an area school. 

In the Galapagos, the team will stay in local lodging that is secure and comfortable. This is a new ministry site. You will be serving at a school for disabled children; especially children with Down Syndrome. This is a place known for peaceful living conditions, biodiversity, and incredible views and wildlife, in the Galápagos, the kids receive various benefits of the program like medical care and school supplies. Through our program, they are provided with clothing, shoes, and training. This team will get to serve with Contigo by loving on the children and families being served through this project. The plan is to finish whatever work still needs to be done on the classroom that will be started in January, as well as to minister to the kids through hands-on daily interactions. Sometimes this can look like helping with a project; other times it might be doing arts and crafts, Bible study or simply playing with the children.
